Every dancer in the Ballroom and Latin team, no matter the level, enjoys an hour class and an hour of group supervised practice with one of our world-class professional instructors. Each week, a further two practice nights let you perfect the craft.
I’ve never danced before!
Join our beginners’ team! We’ll start with Waltz, Quickstep, Cha-Cha and Jive, before progressing to other styles later in the year.
We have dedicated committee members as beginners’ trainers who will provide great support for your journey into the beautiful world of Ballroom and Latin dancing. In addition to classes with professional instructors, you’ll also benefit from an extra two hours of committee-led beginners practice every Saturday.
How do I join?
- If you are new to Ballroom and Latin altogether, the best way to start your dance journey is to come along to one of our taster sessions in early October.
- If you have prior dance experience, come along to one of our classes and chat with a committee member! You can also get in touch by email or on Instagram.
- If you’re not an Imperial student, we typically only let people join if they have an Imperial partner. However, you should get in touch to let us know your unique circumstances and we’ll see what we can do!
I have a question!
